Gospel singer Joe Mettle has announced his first single since being crowned VGMA Artist of the Year in the early hours of Sunday April 9th.

Titled Yesu Edi Nkunim (Jesus is victorious), it is an apt explanation for the historic feat.  Mettle beat EL, Stonebwoy, Medikal, MzVee, and Sarkodie to become the first ever Gospel act to win the coveted prize. He also won the awards for Best Male Vocal Performance, and Gospel Artist of the Year.
