Stonebwoy wins Reggae/Dancehall Artist of the Year for the third time in the row.  He adds it to an earlier award he picked up for Reggae/ Dancehall Song of the Year.

The night is also turning out to be very successful for Confession hitmaker Kofi Kinaata, who brings to three, his tally so far. He wins Songwriter of the Year for the second time in a row.

Veteran VVIP have also been awarded Best Collaboration of the Year for Alhaji (ft. Patoranking).

VGMA 2017 is a Charterhouse Ghana production. It is sponsored by telecoms giant Vodafone. EL, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Joe Mettle, MzVee, Medikal are all in the running for the coveted award of Artist of the Year.
