VGMA 2017 Artist of the Year, Joe Mettle

Too Late singer Adina Thembi (who earlier paid tribute to Paapa Yankson in a touching duet with Akwaboah) has been adjudged Best Female Vocalist of the Year at the ongoing Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Joe Mettle won for Best Male Vocalist of the Year ahead of Afriyie, Ogya Mensah, Joe Mettle, Akwaboah , Sonnie Badu,  and Ernest Opoku.

For three consecutive times, veteran hiplife group VVIP were adjudged Group of the Year.

Compered by Anita Erskine, VGMA 2017 is a Charterhouse Ghana production. It is sponsored by telecoms giant Vodafone. EL, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Joe Mettle, MzVee, Medikal are all in the running for the coveted award of Artist of the Year.
