Francis Doku, Cape Town, South Africa – A team of Ghanaian and Nigerian celebrities, journalists and bloggers has over the last six days been visiting some touris destinations across South Africa.

The team which has Nollywood big names Nigerian Richard Mofe-Damijo and Ghanaian John Dumelo also include Nigerian musician Sheyi Shay, popular Nigerian television presenter Bolanle Olukanni and others.

The team was chosen to be part of the 2017 edition of the Cape Town International Jazz Festival while experiencing the best that South Africa can offer in tourism. As part of the experiences for this hosting by South Africa Tourism, the team was in Knysna, a tourism haven in the Western Cape.

At Knysna the team underwent spa treatments, helicopter ride, visited the elephant sanctuary, enjoyed power boating, among other experiences.On Friday the team arrived in Cape Town and immediately visited the famous Robben Island where Nelson Mandela and other South African opponents of the Apartheid regime were imprisoned for many years.

The team was also given an experience on Harley Davidson motorbikes, when they rode from the base of Table Mountain to the Constantia Valley for wine tasting.

On Sunday the team visited the iconic Cape Town, among other things, the celebrities had a photoshoot by the celebrated Nigerian photographer Kelechi Amadi-Obi.
