This year’s edition of Citi FM’s Music of Ghanaian Origin (MOGO) dinner dance came off on Saturday March 25 at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.

A celebration of authentic highlife music as well as the nation’s diamond jubilee, the night witnessed exciting performances from some of our most respected names in that genre: Okyeame Kwame, Kwabena Kwabena, Nana Ampadu, Adane Best, Paapa Yankson, A.B Crentsil, and Amandzeba.

Compered by poet/playwright Chief Moomen and broadcasterJessica Opare- Saforo, the elegant event also witnessed a special performance by the Heritage Theatre Series team chronicling the evolution of our music over several decades.
