Rapper Okyeame Kwame is set to tour the country looking for exciting new talent.
Expected to hit local screens in coming months, the project (a reality show) looks to shine the light on twenty of our brightest emerging rappers, and will see them tap from the vast store of musical knowledge by of rapper, as well as engage in collaborative work with him.
Rap with OK, as the show is titled, is one of many activities the One Mic boss is rolling out to help burgeoning acts reach the levels the he has chalked.
Okyeame Kwame has racked up several high-profile honours since getting into music, most recently, a United States Presidential Volunteer Service Award by Barack Obama for his “outstanding humanitarian effort”.
Since entering the industry in 1999, Okyeame Kwame (born Kwame Nsiah- Appau) has grown to be a respected brand, for his creativity and depth. He has won several awards including GMA Artist of the Year in 2009. His most recent singles include Small Small and K’si Boys, Tension, Hallelujah and It’s OK. He’s set to release his latest album Made in Ghana.
