Hailing from Tema, the famous Ghanaian city which also produced the likes of Sarkodie, R2Bees, Killbeatz, Yaa Pono, and Medikal, Trayvon Blvck is among the most prolific emerging voices on the local rap scene.
Developing a strong interest in music at a tender age, the 21-year-old (privately known as Brian Osei Addo) gained underground acclaim as a hardcore hiphop act, delivering many iconic freestyles.
While he has been around for sometime now, Wake The Fuck Up ( a collaboration with Jay Roc) is his debut single. Directed by Eben Yanks (who himself very much sought-after for his genius behind the camera, though still burgeoning), visuals for the song were shot on location at the University of Ghana, Legon.
Wake The Fuck Up (WTFU) discusses race and injustice, charging the black man to rise from his slumber and reach for his ultimate potential.
Trayvon Blvck lists Desiigner and Kendrick Lamar among his greatest influences.
