It will definitely be an intriguing moment tomorrow, March 3 when the Aknac Hotel, East Legon plays host to the finale of UPSA Royal 2017 Competition.

The event being organised by the Women’s Commission of the Student Representative of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) will feature 2017 VGMAs Artiste of the year nominee Medikal and Dancehall Artiste Ebony Reigns.

According to Ms Linda Akanjo the Women’s Commissioner, the performing artistes have promised to make the UPSA Royals 2017 the talk of town for the rest of the semester and beyond.

Medikal , real name Samuel Adu Frimpong , is currently one of Ghana’s fastest rising  hip hop artiste. He is currently signed to Criss Waddle’s AMG Business record label.

Despite being young , Medikal already has an active fan base and has already released a couple of hit songs including Confirm, Forever My Love (featuring Bisa Kdei), Confirm Remix (featuring Sarkodie) , By Heart Boy , Connect , Too Risky (feat Sister Derby) and Bless You. 2016 Ghanaian music artiste of the year E.L also featured him on his recent mixtape B.A.R III : Lomi Era.
