Here’s Saturday Nite, singer Shatta Wale’s latest single this year. Over the last couple of years, Shatta Wale has gained popularity not merely for his many scandals, but also for the ease with which he dispatches dancehall and Afropop gems.

Saturday Nite, like most off his songs, was self-produced, and follows his recent  collaboration (Hosanna) with Nigerian colleague Burna Boy. Shatta Wale’s latest album After the Storm, was released in April 2016, and consists hits such as Mahama Paper, Hol’ It,  Chop Kiss, and Kakai.
