Free-to-air and pay service Television platform Kwese TV has officially been launched in Ghana.
The event was held at the Polo Club, and was attended by the media, Business Executives, public figures and the Kwese TV team.
It was Mced by Media Personality Jay Foley. Bisa Kdei thrilled the audience with a number of his hit songs.
Speaking at the launch, Econet Media CEO & President, Joseph Hundah said the platform is all about “freedom of choice” and also “showcasing the best African stories from the continent.”
The Kwese bouquet comes with some 45 channels including entertainment, sports and music channels. Sean Combs’ (Diddy) music cable network, REVOLT TV will be available outside the US for the first time on the platform.
Patrons have the option of choosing from a 3-day, 7-day, or a month subscription. The programmes can be viewed on a Television set or smartphones.
