Veteran Ghanaian rapper Okra Tom Dawidi, revered by an older generation especially for his ferocious style and clever diction, has gently been making inroads unto the contemporary music scene, and what better way than to trade verses with the act at the very pinnacle of the modern terrain.

FITEMĀ (featuring Sarkodie) isĀ slated for releasee in coming days, is historic already, because of what both rappers represent to the culture –then and now.

Born Emmanuel Ralph Kotei Niko, he hails fromLa in Accra, and started rap while still in high school (partnering with his friend to form Tom and Jerry). He he also appeared in the famous Execution Diaries of 2003 which was hosted by rap legend Obrafour. HIs recent singles include Spit Fire and Nyansa, both produced by Beatz Dakay.
