Ghana Emmaus Committee awards it’s founding executive Madam Janet Forson for her outstanding work opening several chapters of the Emmaus Walk in various churches across the country.

The Walk to Emmaus is a spiritual renewal program intended to strengthen the Local Church through development of Christian disciple leaders. In its 20 years of existence in Ghana it has trained over two thousand church members and has grown to include not only members of the Methodist Church but other Churches as well.

In her acceptance speech, Madam Janet thanked the Methodist Church for accepting her vision, she went on to encourage others to take on more leadership roles in the church, especially at a time she believes the church is struggling.
