English singer Ed Sheeran took a year off travelling the world and curating new experiences. He was in Ghana months ago recording music and sampling the country’s culture. He was hosted by Azonto star Fuse ODG in his mansion, and they created several songs together.

He reveals in an interview with BBC 1Xtra, that one of the songs which ends up on his forthcoming third album, ÷”. He also divulges that he got himself a tattoo of the Ghana flag, and enjoyed Waakye very much.

Born in born in Hebden Bridge, Ed Sheeran is most known for such universal songs as The A Team and Thinking Out Loud (which won him Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance at the 2016 edition of the Grammy Awards), and has been associated with Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, One Direction, Bruno Mars among other global stars.
