The short documentary gives viewers an inside look into the making of intricate costumes for top Ghanaian acts, specifically dancehall singer Shatta Wale, and his intriguing “mirror jacket” which he wore to EIB’s recently-held S- Concert at the Accra Sports Stadium.

In the video, BENASH (who has styled several other top Ghanaian acts including Sarkodie, hiplife groups VVIP and 4×4, as well NKZ frontman Guru and female rap sensation Eno), submits that it took him about a week to fully execute this groundbreaking design. He also reveals that getting the mirrors to stick to the jacket was the hardest bit of it all, however, his desire to do something unprecedented kept him to the task.

BENASHJeans also styled the Kakai hitmaker during his After the Storm album launch held at the Black Star Square in Accra (April 29, 2016), as well as the CAF Awards held in Nigeria back in January.

Established in 1998 in Nima, BENASH has steadily gone on to become the nation’s preferred urban clothing brand, with amazing products for both men and women looking to make daring fashion statements in Ghana and beyond.
