Hosted by Madina native and emerging rap act AYAT, Madfest 2016 will be graced by an extensive list of budding and established hiphop acts in the country, including Akan, Worlasi, Teephlow, BBonics, AJ Nelson, Kayso, King of Accra, as well as other surprise acts.

The inaugural edition, Madfest 2016 is a sort of homage to Madina, the town that the rapper represents. It is slated for the Number 1 Park on December 22, and kicks off at 4pm prompt.

Still considerably new in the industry, Ayat has already secured a feature on Edem’s Egboame (remix), songs with Sarkodie and Medikal, and endorsement from such influential players as M.anifest and Da’Hammer.

AYAT is responsible for such successful songs as IDKY, YAUWA, and Forget Everybody.
