Management of  Kojo Antwi’s Freedom Family Entertainment has asked the general public to disregard erroneous reports that thee maestro has died in Germany.

”Kojo is fine and he’s in Ghana. He hasn’t traveled to Germany as the story sought to portray. It’s disgusting how anyone would want his fellow human being dead for no reason. Knowing that what you’re putting out there is untrue and going ahead to do it is crazy, to say the least,” Mr. Ransford Antwi, spokesperson for the highlife legend stressed in a statement soon after the false reports started circulating on social media.

Mr. Antwi also cautioned against perpetrators of such reports, and reassured that Kojo Antwi is doing fine.

With a whopping 22 albums, and many laurels including West Africa Tourism Award, All Africa Music Awards, Kora Award, and the Our Music Award under his belt, Kojo Antwi is a trusted authority in Ghanaian music.

Born Julius Kojo Antwi, the Afro pop, highlife and reggae icon first released a music album as far back as 1986, and his last album Mwaah!, was released in 2009.
