Released on the eve of this year’s general polls, visuals for BBNZ Live’s Ko-jo Cue begin with an instructive message about the need to exercise our civic responsibility as refusal to do so might result in untoward consequences for our future.

The video itself is laced with breathtaking animation sleights, and presents the rapper as a presidential candidate for an election. It is also a tribute to hiplife grandpapa Reggie Rockstone, who has constantly been referred to by that name since he got into the industry in the early 90s. Indeed, he’s credited for coining that term with his song with the same title.
