Singer Worlasi shot to national acclaim with his debut mixtape, Nusɛ (May 2015). Together with Uncut – a collection of songs which didn’t make it unto his first project, he has easily become one of Ghana’s most sought-after voices, appearing on projects with Sarkodie, Kwaw Kese, Sena Dagadu, M.anifest among others.
Come November 26 at Alliance Francaise, he is set to stage a concert for Nuse, which is Ewe for “inner strength”. The concert is part of Yoyo Tinz‘s Accra Hiphop Week celebration.

The Nuse Concert will see Worlasi treat patrons to such timeless pieces as Hey, Focus, Freedom, Tell Me, Possible, and Someday, and is also expected to be graced by some of his industry friends.
Signed to Supreme Rights Records, Worlasi’s latest single is titled Nukata (Why), and laments the significant burden funding a relationship in this age can prove to be.
