Gospel singer and wife of controversial pastor Bishop Obinim, Florence Obinim says she has been on a musical break for the past year or so.

Answering a question from Samuel Asare (TP Klan) on OB TV  about whether she has quit music, she told the host; ” God has a purpose for everyone. God wanted me to go into haitus so I could assist women in their marriages through my teachings. I had to obey the voice the Lord”

Florence Obinim started singing when she was about 11 in the Assemblies of God Church in Kumasi, her debut album was a massive favorite with many Ghanaian’s and had many children singing along.

She was inspired to write her hit, Osoro Ne Me Fie (Heaven Is My Home) after her husband preached about it.

Other popular songs from her include Wagye Me, Oben Me, Mehia W’adom, Me Dimafo, Mahunu Bi Da, and Ma Me Nyansa.
