The death is reported of veteran Kumawood actor Ebenezer Donkor, more popularly known as Katawere.

“It’s true [he passed away] this morning. I saw it around 9 a.m but we took him to the hospital at 10:30 a.m and the doctor [from Opoku Ware Hospital] confirmed,” his daughter Diana Donkor reveals to myjoyonline.com.

He reportedly succumbed to undisclosed ailment, and his remains have since been deposited at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital morgue.

Also known for his role in popular tv series ‘Efiewura’, he died at 78, and was survived by six children.
