Tourism ambassador Abeiku Aggrey Santana left Ghana this morning for the world travel market 2016 in London.
speaking to the media yesterday at the La Villa Botique hotel in Osu before his departure, the host of Okay 101.7 FM flagship show Okwonso Anigye told the Press ” World Travel Market is the leading global event for the travel industry to meet industry professionals and conduct business deals. Through its industry networks, unrivaled global reach, WTM creates personal and business opportunities, providing customers with quality contacts, content and communities etc. in the Travel & Tourism industry.so am going there to sell the tourism industry in Ghana. I will use the opportunity to invite a lot of investors to Ghana to invest in to the Tourism industry “.
The 3-day event being held from 7th November to 9th November 2016 at the ExceL London in London, United Kingdom is a business-to-business event, which presents a diverse range of destinations and industry sectors to UK and International travel professionals in the Travel & Tourism industry.
Ever since he was appointed as a Tourism Ambassador, has embarked on several programs to educate the populace, most especially agents of tourism (hoteliers,taxi drivers, etc) on how to help promote tourism in order to boost the GDP of the country.
He also used the opportunity to thank the media most especially the Entertainment writers and bloggers for supporting his tourism agenda.
