Writer/ Director Juliet Asante’s Silver Rain, which tells a moving story of Ajoa and Bruce, who come from different extremes off class, and how they navigate it, has been acquired by ShowTime Network and NBCUniversal‘s SundanceTV.

The channel usually,  is dedicated to airing documentaries, independent feature films, short films, world cinema, as well as original content , such as items related to the prestigious Sundance Film Festival.

Featuring  A-list actors from Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Kenya, and South Africa, the film, since it’s release in 2015  has received critical acclaim and recognition including from the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) and the Ghana Movie Awards.
