Musician Kyekyeku, who has earned rapid appeal for his masterful incorporation of palmwine music with traditional, highlife and Afrobeat melodies, is set to treat fans to songs from his debut Higher Life on Palmwine, Happy Yourself (his collaboration with budding band FRA) among others.

The concert, Kyekyeku Live! comes off Saturday October 22 at Alliance Francaise, Accra, and supporting acts include rapper Wanlov, FRA, Abajo All Star, and Opuku Mensah.

Referred to as a “wizard of the guitar” by CNN, Kyekyeku has been associated with global music icons musicians as Koo Nimo (GH), Peter White (UK/Jazz), Pat Thomas(GH), Ambolley(GH) Thais Morel (Brazil), Mayra Andrade (Cape Verde), and Blick Bassy (Cameroun).
