Global R&B star Trey Songz, with whom Ghana’s Stonebwoy has been paired for this season’s Coke Studio Africa, has taken to Instagram to extol the latter’s talents, calling him a king;

“My brother Stonebwoy…he laced me with the real..king from Ghana right here ..he is King”, he said, displaying footwear he had received the Go Higher singer as a present.

Stonebwoy joins other African superstars as Fally Ipupa, Yemi Alade, Patoranking and Sauti Sol for season 4 of the musical collaboration project. Trey Songz and Neyo are among world stars who have graced the show.

The Coke Studio Africa aims at bringing top artists from various parts of the continent together to create medleys of some of Africa’s favorite anthems. It  has been graced by some of the biggest African stars yet, including Nigeria’s MI Abaga and 2Baba (2Face Idibia), Kenya’s Avril, and Mozambique’s Neymar.
