In a month which is seeing significantly more launches than perhaps any other time in remembered history, rapper EL is set to launch his latest album BAR 3 tonight at the Kristals Night Club, Osu. This comes a day after colleague M.anifest outdoored his Nowhere Cool project at the Jaguar Showroom, Accra.

Other albums out this month include FlowKing Stone’s Gifted, as well as Black Prophet’s Stories of Life.

Usually a mixtape, rapper EL’s BAR project takes a different turn this year. BAR III, he announced recently, is a full-fledged album.

The album, entirely hip-hop, has been preceded by masterful singles as Body Bags, Love God, Portey Dey Be, and Lalafama. It brings together an international array of A-list acts including MI, Khuli Chana, Adoma, Stargo, Teephlow, Gemini, Joey B, Medikal, Ayat and Worlasi.

Born Elorm Adabla, EL is president of BBnZ Live, the record label on which he is signed. The label is also home to other music forces as Kojo-Cue, and Shaker. He has two studio albums and five mixtapes to his credit.
