Dancehall singer Shatta Wale is expected to land in Ghana 6:50 tonight.
Over the weekend, he was in the UK for his Shatta Live in London Concert as part of a Europe tour. The hugely successful concert has attracted rave reviews and even comparisons with longtime friend and collaborator Sarkodie, which he has attempted to deflate as soon as it started.
The Shatta Live In London concert, which was sold out several days before the advertised date, generated phenomenal attention since it was announced, including audience from Ghanaian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, Hon. Victor Smith, and attendance by EIB Boss Bola Ray.
While in the UK, Shatta Wale was featured on the BBC World service, and reportedly also got a new tattoo on his neck.
The Kotoka International Airport is expected to see thousands of Shatta Movement faithfuls to welcome their king. His latest project After The Storm, is out now.
