Rapper Atom, popularly known for his hit single “Ye Wo Krom” was in the news days ago for saying that Apple paid him over $20,000 for using his song at Worldwide Developers Conference back in June. In a latest development to the story, he has dared artiste manager and Event Republic boss Mel Kwesi Davis to buttress his claims that he (Atom) was contacted before his song “Ye Wo Krom” was played at the event.
In an interview with Akwasi Aboagye on the Entertainment Review on Peace FM, Atom (real name Ebenezer Affum Larbi) told the host; “I dare him to prove or publish any documents to prove that I was contact before my song was played. We didn’t know that my song would be played… we only got to know after the event “.
“I have never met the lady who played the song. I don’t know she was from Ghana. If someone went behind me to speak to the woman, then that’s miscommunication “, he continued.
Atom’s “Ye Wo Krom” won the hip life song for the year at the 2015 Vodafone Ghana music awards.
