Thousands of people have welcomed Dancehall act Stonebwoy at the Tamale Airport ahead of his concert on Saturday.

In special Northern Region style, and a scene same as what is accorded leading public figures, Stonebwoy’s crew saw thousands join them on a procession from the Airport to the township.

Coming few hours before his gig, the atmosphere was representative of his cult status which keeps soaring year on year.

The award-winning act touched down on Friday, a day before he mounts the stage at the Tamale Sports Stadium, which has in recent times hosted more-than-usual concert numbers.
