Ghanaian hiplife trio 4×4 are currently on a media tour of their latest single Atongo, on which they feature Bright of Buk Bak fame. In a latest interview with Accra-based Kasapa FM, they have touted the wide appeal of the song. They opine that the song is irresistible, even to the president of the republic.

“Our brothers and sisters in the northern part of Ghana are so much in love with the song and to show our gratitude we have given ourselves northern names. Fresh Prince is Atia, Coded is Atinga and Captain planet is Atongo. You can’t help but love this song Even President Mahama loves Atongo”

Formed in 2000 by Captain Planet (Sylvanus Dodji Jeoffrey) and Coded (Raphael Edem Avornyo) with the help of mentors Buk Bak, they were joined buy singer Fresh Prince (Prince Tamakloe) in 2007. They are also among the most consistent groups in Ghana.
