Radio host and musician Pope Skinny has thrown his weight behind hip-hop mogul and CEO of Black Avenue Music D-Black, describing him as a good rapper.

The rapper, born Desmond Blackmore, has over the years, come under public attack for perceived below-par rap performance.

“D-Black is not whack. People say he is not a good rapper but I beg to differ. He is good, he should just stop doing Azonto songs and release more hip-hop songs so people can appreciate his depth of language.”

The Hot Cake hit maker has been in the music industry for quite some time now, but is currently best known for presenting popular rap show, Kasahare Level, which airs Saturday nights on Mulitimedia-owned Adom FM.

D-Black’s forthcoming album, Lightwork, is scheduled for release soon.
