Especially since the release of her controversial Sankwas recently, there have been rising suspicions about a possible feud between dancehall singer Kaakie and dancehall colleague MzVee over who is Ghana’s “dancehall queen”.

But speaking to Accra-based Metro TV Saturday morning, MzVee has insisted that it’s all peace between her and Kaakie, describing feuds as a waste of time.

“For us to waste time trying to fight…I don’t think it is needed; we are playing too much and I think we should take things seriously. It’s really funny how things are happening. We went to the same school and the last time I saw her we spoke and everything was okay so I have no idea what is going on.”

She has also denied that her latest single Make I Shine, which features rapper EL, and on which she claims God made her dancehall queen, is a response to Kaakie.
