Radio personality and singer John Germain has released the video to his popular new RnB single, Threesome, which also features rappers E.L and Dee Moneey.
The song, released back in March, is a single off his sophomore project ENIGMA.
Germain is a popular face in the Ghanaian media landscape; being engaged by such outfits as Choice FM, Metro TV, X FM, and currently Starr FM, but he has also been involved in music since a young age ( he’s a former member of bands MGKK 4 and Van Greene). His 2010 debut THIS IS WHO I AM has been nominated by Channel O, SOUNDCITY, MOAMAS (New York, USA), and the Ghana Music Awards, and has won him laurels at the 4Syte Music Awards Africa, among others.
In a recent interview, he shares how he came to make the record:
“While growing up, one of the songs I heard that inspired me was the musical genius, Marvin Gaye’s Sexual Healing. As a song writer, I always wanted to record a song about the things men wish for. This refers to a case when your girlfriend has a very pretty friend and you wish you had them both. That’s the story of my new single, Threesome…It was by accident. I was in the studio recording a different song when the verse for Threesome started ringing in my head. So I told my producer that we should stop working on the old song and create this new piece. He was surprised but he agreed and within minutes, I sang it and we created Threesome”.
Threesome was shot on location in Ghana and the US, and was directed by Abbeam Productions. Watch it here:
