The 7th edition of the City People Entertainment Awards (CPEA ) came off July 24, 2016 in Lagos, Nigeria.
Ghana saw formidable representation at the event and saw Accra-based Live FM and Gh One TV (both owned by media conglomerate EIB Network), actors Liwin and Yvone Okoro, and singer Shatta Wale all emerge winners. A full list of Ghanaian winners is below.
The awards, an annual event since 1999, is organized by City People Magazine to honour Nigerian and Ghanaian entertainers for their sterling efforts every year. Previous Ghanaian winners include Van Vicker, Adjetey Annang, Kafui Danku among others.
