International Ghanaian actor Abraham Attah was July 2, presented with a Key to the City of Massachusetts by Mayor Joseph M. Petty.

In a citation,the Mayor congratulated Abraham Attah on his achievements as a young actor.
The citation lauded Abraham’s efforts and highlighted what a source of encouragement he has come to represent to other children his age:
“Your award winning performance captivated world audiences; those profound strides serve as inspiration for young actors like you”.
Other honourees included ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
Abraham Attah will return to Ghana in when he wraps up shooting Spiderman: Homecoming, August.Among activities he will be engaged in while in Ghana are a series of events aimed at contributing to peaceful elections come December.
Abraham Attah shot to global prominence with his gripping performance in the movie adaptation of Uzodinma Iweala’s novel, Beast of No Nation, alongside Luther star, Idris Elba. In the movie, he plays Agu, a child soldier in a war-torn African country.Beast of No Nation, which is also the 15 year old’s first ever role, has won him several international awards including the Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead and National Board of Review Award for Best Breakthrough Performance.
