Kwame Nsiah Apau, better known by his stage name Okyeame Kwame, has discussed his journey in a new single, Hallelujah (ft Abochi).

Chronicling his experiences in a career which has spanned over two decades, Okyeame Kwame, 40, treats an array of issues including his days as a fifteen-year old rapper, dealing with doubt from skeptics, as well as the victories God has brought his way –such as being the first Ghanaian (as one half of rap group Akyeame) to perform at the Apollo Theater.

Sarkodie sparked outrage from group member Okyeame Quophi with his “historical” Apollo Theater concert last year. Okyeame Quophi felt the need to correct the impression circulating that Sarkodie was the first to perform at the Apollo.

Okyeame Kwame has won several awards including GMA Artist of the Year in 2009. His most recent singles include Small Small and K’si Boys.
