The rap duo, who have once called their genre “gospel porn”, on July 30, released their latest album: FOKN Ode to Ghana.

“The 21-track album is a satirical commentary on the current global social, political, economic, racial and religious happenings. The duo brings to bare their magical skills of narration amidst sarcasm and metaphors on this new album.”, an official statement explains about the project.
FOKN Ode to Ghana sees M3nsa(Mensah Ansah), and Wanlov the Kubolor (Emmanuel Owusu Bonsu), who make up the FOKN Bois, perform over the 21-track instrumentals album by Hobo Truffles.
Commenting on the release of the album, which is also free to download, the witty rappers wrote:
“Sorry it took us so long…there was traffic and light off and pipe off in Dansoman”.
FOKN Ode to Ghana is the third album of the group, who are known for their satirical approach on socio-political issues in Ghana with their songs.
Their musical Coz Ov Moni 1 and 2 , have been screened at such international film festivals like the Durban International Film Festival in South Africa; the Rio International Film Festival in Brazil; the Pan-African Film Festival in Los Angeles, USA; the Black Filmmakers International Film Festival in London, UK; the Pan-African Film Festival in Cannes, France; and the African Weekender in Sussex, UK.
Their previous albums include FOKN Dunaquest in Budapest (2011) and FOKN Wit Ewe (2012).
