Ghana’s sole rep at this year’s BETs has had her name engraved at the Grammy Museum, Los Angeles, for being a nominee at this event.
A very excited Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, who is up against other African powerhouses Wizkid (Nigeria), Yemi Alade (Nigeria) AKA (South Africa), Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Black Coffee (South Africa), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania) and Serge Beynaud (Cote D’Ivoire) reacted on her social media handles shortly after the event:
“Super excited to see my name at
the Grammy Museum #HallOfFame”.
MzVee, who was also at the BET Xperience Concert in at the Staples Center, seems to be enjoying her experience at the event, posting several photos and short videos unto her timeline. She attends this year’s event with longtime boss, Richie Mensah, who also produced both her albums.
This is MzVee’s second BET nomination; she was also up for the Best International Artist Viewers’ Choice Award in last year’s awards, which she lost to Eddy Kenzo of Uganda.
The BET Awards comes off June 26 At the Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles.
