Mobile phone leader Samsung put up a glittering launch of its latest offering the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge when it berthed in Accra, Friday.

Held at Plot 7 inside Nyaniba Estates, the unveiling played host to Ghana’s technology-savvy heads as well as a carefully selected media group and some celebrities, notably dancehall act Shatta Wale.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, arguably the world’s most stylish mobile phone lived up to its credo, dazzling patrons who turned up.

Samsung Ghana officials say they are hopeful their latest product’s a game changer, and what the Ghanaian public is looking for.

Guests got a rare privilege to sample and experience the modernity of the phone as well as were given a virtual reality feel of the the Gear VR.

Winners already in the phone consuming public, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge display their compatibility with the Gear VR at purchase, and endears the full user experience at first use.

The Ghana offering aside a Screen Insurance tie-in and a 24-month warranty, comes with lots of goodies through vendors such as Nallem Clothing, Palace Superstore, Niobe Spa, Lord of the Wings, Le Magellan, Honey Suckle, Mama Mia, Vida E Caffe, Nourish Lab Smoothy’s, Numero Uno, and Chicken Inn among others.

The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are available at all authorized Samsung retail shops, officials say.
