George Nii Armah Quaye PRO of Charter House, organisers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has reacted to claims by a section of the media that Bisa  K Dei’s Brother Brother was disqualified from the scheme because it was vulgar.

Speaking to Dr Cann on his Showbiz Xtra show on Happy Fm he told the host “we decided to choose one of bisa’s songs because we thought it will help him agregate the  votes needed. you cant put all of his popular songs in the same category he will get divided votes and other songs in the same category will take advantage of that to get more votes so we did that in consultation with him. The song wasn’t banned as speculated.”

Bisa Kdei’s Mansa is in contention with Take Away – Acka Blay ft Cabum, Hw3 – Becca, Mansa – Bisa Kdei, Pimpinaa – Obrafuor ft Bisa Kdei, M’akoma – R2bees, Susuka – Kofi Kanata, Alewa – Ofori Amponsah ft Sarkodie.
