The election of national officers of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) for another term, will take place in the Eastern Regional capital of Koforidua from October 29-31, the body has said.

A decision was reached by the Union’s Election committee and some of the candidates contesting during a recent meting.

“Chairman of the Election committee Ben Brako assured the candidates that the Election Committee is operating in the supreme interest of the Union and not in any individual’s interest,” a release issued in Accra says.

Present at the meeting were all three Presidential candidates, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Appiah Dankwa a.k.a Apietus and the incumbent Bice Osei Kuffour aka Obour.

Others present included Ras Caleb Appiah Levi who is contesting for the National Organizer position, Deborah Freeman, Rev Dr Thomas Yawson, Benedict Kolan and Bessa Simons who are all standing unopposed.
