Ghana’s President John Mahama has endorsed local actors Agya Koo and Lil Win.

In an interview with State broadcaster Uniiq FM Wednesday, Mahama who spent the last few minutes of the session answering to questions on some general arts, entertainment and culture issues, singled out the two and some other stakeholders including Shirley Frimpong Manso for mention.

This is the first time Mahama, whose government has one of the industry’s own in Dzifa Abla Gomashie – as Deputy Minister for Creative Arts, Culture and Tourism – is publicly making his views known on the industry.
