The Pina Baafi Foundation celebrated this year’s Mother’s Day with a donation to aged women of Kukruntumi in the Eastern Region.
Items worth of GHC15,000 were presented.
The foundation headed by Miss Ghana 2013 Miss Giuseppina Nana Akua Baafi “decided to organise a party for aged women in celebration of Mother’s Day to put a smile on their faces.”
The event was graced by fellow beauty queens Margaret Kuma Mintah and Crystal Selorm Amudzi Miss Ghana 2013 1st and 2nd Runner Ups. Also in attendance was actor Prince David Osei.
The aged women thanked the Foundation for the gesture.
Miss Pina Baafi in a speech acknowledged how motherhood was an important institution.
Receiving the items on behalf of the women was MP for Abuakwa North Honourable J.B. Danquah who thanked the Pina Baafi Foundation for the gesture.
