The death is reported of Mr. Kwasi Brenya, General Manager of Peace FM.

Officials at the Despite Group of Companies-owned medium say he passed away Tuesday afternoon, at the 37 Military Hospital, where he’s been on admission.

Colleagues say he was an affable and kind man. Brenya also acted as General Manager of the Despite Group of Comapnies, which also owns OKAY FM, and Neat FM in Accra, Hello FM in Kumasi, and United Television (UTV).

A statement from the station’s CEO Osei Kwame Despite says “meetings are currently underway to determine funeral and burial arrangement.”

The CEO, Dr. Osei Kwame Despite, Management, and entire staff of Despite Group of Companies deeply regret to announce to the general public, the cherised listeners/viewers and the entire customers of the group that our beloved former General Manager, Mr. Kwesi Brenya has passed on to glory.

This sad event occurred this afteroon at the 37 Military hospital after a short illness.

Meetings are currently underway to determine funeral and burial arrangement.

Management will get you informed once a decision is reached with the family.
