Three young people danced their way to fame on Sunday evening when the finals of Season 6 of TV3’s Talented Kids reality show took place at the National Theatre.

Star Dance Crew, made up of three exceptionally gifted kids from the Apostle Safo School of Arts and Science Primary School, emerged winners of the competition, which wrapped up minutes ago.

After making it into a shortlisted final four, they went on to win, beating the other three to this year’s title. Sticking to the show’s tradition, this year’s event also saw some mainstream artistes come up on stage to support the contestants.

Fairly attended, this year’s event was heavily sponsored – the benefits of which trickled down to the contestants in cash, plaques and souvenirs.

The Talented Kids show was started by the television station five years ago. It has produced some breakout child stars over the past five years; Tutulapato and the Sarkodie wannabe Awal being two.

This year’s event was hosted by the show’s on-off presenter, Josie.
