At least some four presenters across two radio platforms of Multimedia Broadcasting Company, owners of JOY FM and a number of other stations, have left the group.
The four, including two Sports Presenters, one Presenter/Producer, and a Current Affairs host have joined Kasapa 102.3 FM, the new, Twi-speaking radio station owned by Kwabena Duffour, and Bola Ray’s EIB Network.
Gideon Okyere Anim, popularly known as ‘Gattuso’, and Tony Adam Adjei all sports presenters are joined by Kwaku Owusu Adjei, a former sit-in presenter on the Adom FM Morning Show, as well as Kojo Preko Dankwa, a seasoned Current Affairs producer who recently took to presenting.
Kasapa FM already has in its fold controversial comedian/actor Afia Schwarzenegger, whose mid-morning show Aben w) ha went live on Monday ahead of the station’s May launch.

EIB has indicated its preparedness to play big, informed by a resolve to quickly stand up to the competition they are likely to face.
enewsgh.com is reliably told that some more signings will be done in the days leading up to an eventual roll out.

The group’s other on-air assets include Starr FM, Ultimate FM (Kumasi), Agoo FM (Nkawkaw), Empire FM (Takoradi), HI FM (Koforidua). They also operate the Daily Heritage newspaper, which relaunches soon. A tv station is also in the works.
