Reggae/Dancehall Artiste Stonebwoy in the early hours of Sunday April 12 got crowned Artiste of the Year at the 16th edition of the Ghana Music Awards.
A verdict that didn’t surprise many, he became the third Reggae/Dancehall artiste after Samini and Shatta Wale to win the award, the highest local recognition for Ghanaian musicians.
Organized by Charterhouse, the 16th edition did a ridiculous 8-hour run that irked a lot of patrons. But the performances, which included one from Stonebwoy, made the pain less of an issue.
