Rapper, Tinny, staged a comeback of sorts when he gave a good account of himself at the annual Citi FM Music of Ghana Origin (MOGO) Festival, which started Saturday, at Mantse Agbonaa, Jamestown.

After a long hiatus, Tinny, once a visible mainstream artiste in Ghana, performed creditably to the admiration of the thousands who thronged the venue for what was a good event.

Other performers included the celebrated traditional music group Dzadzeloi, and highlife artiste Adane Best.

The Mantse Agbonaa event kicked off the MOGO Festival – a series of music-themed events planned for the week.

Jama Competition

Jama groups from various communities also competed for honors and set Accra alight with their energetic performances. The Teshie group were overall winners, followed by Ga Mashie and Osu.

The Accra Music Expo celebrated indigenous Ga music and set the ball rolling for a great week of Music of Ghanaian Origin.
