Wilmar International, producers of premium brand Frytol Cooking Oil, is embarking on a campaign to bring back the tradition of storytelling.

Dubbed ‘Tales of Ananse’, an illuminated Frytol branded pickup truck vehicle makes stops at a location to engage the members of the community with folktales, drumming and dancing.

Last week, the team made a stop at Zambraamline, Sukura, a suburb of Accra . Led by the story teller and his Queen, they shared with the young people, the nation’s history, morals and values.

“Frytol is a national brand that is all about togetherness and celebrating our history in a positive way. We believe that the ‘Kanea Wo Esumo’ campaign would encourage families and communities members spending time together,”Fatima Ali Mohammed, General Manager, Commercial, Wilmar International  said on what inspired the campaign.
