Babyjet Promotions is partnering with SuperSport, Africa’s premiere sports broadcasters, to produce and broadcast the bout to 50 countries across the African continent.

Fight fans also have the chance to experience high quality boxing on Friday 27TH March 2015 at the Accra Sports Stadium Tennis Court.

The night promises to be a compelling special spotlight event for the vacant WBA International Lightweight Championship featuring Joebert Delos Reyes from the Philippines and Emmanuel “Game Boy” Tagoe from Ghana in a full 12 round fight.

The bill will also feature an International Lightweight Contest of 10 rounds between George “Red Tiger” Ashie from Ghana and Ronald Pontilla from the Philippines. All bouts will be shown exclusively on GOtv and DStv

Emmanuel Tagoe aka Game Boy is a former Ghanaian National Featherweight Champion, a former two-time WBO Africa Super Featherweight Champion, a former two-time IBF Inter-Continental Super Featherweight Champion, a former WBA Super Featherweight Champion and a former WBA Lightweight Champion. He has fought 24, Won 23 (KO’s 10) and lost only 1 fight.

Joebert Delos Reyes is a 25 year old Filipino boxer who has fought 18, Won 13 (10 KO’s) Lost 4 and Drawn 1. He is the current IBO Lightweight Youth World Champion.

George Ahsie aka Red Tiger is a former Africa Boxing Union (ABU) Super Featherweight Champion, a former Africa Boxing Union (ABU) Lightweight Champion, a former UBC Super Featherweight World Champion,  a former Commonwealth Lightweight Champion and current WBO Africa Lightweight Champion. He has fought 30, Won 25 (18 KO’s), Lost 4 and Drawn 1

Ronald Pontillas aka Unpredictable, is a 25 year old Filipino boxer, a former Philippine, Ocean Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) Super Featherweight Champion. Pontillas has fought 27, Won 17 (KO’s 8) Lost 7 and Drawn 3. He lost controversial Majority Decision to Emmanuel Tagoe aka Game Boy in Ghana on April 26, 2013.

The bout is sponsored by Mama Vit’s Rice and Noodles and will include five (5) additional, exciting supporting fights on the night that will keep spectators entertained and at the edge of their seats.
