MultiChoice Africa announces the launch of Eva, a brand new telenovela channel made for Africa by AMC Networks International – Zone (AMCNI Zone).

The channel is set to go live across Africa on Monday, 23 March on DStv channel 141.

Eva will bring the sizzle to DStv Premium, Compact Plus and Compact subscribers’ television screens with their line up of hot Latin American telenovelas fully dubbed in English. Viewers who enjoy their life with added spice will be treated to a potent mix of love, jealousy and betrayal in the shape of high quality serial dramas.

The new addition to DStv will launch with a host of high production value programmes includingPrisoner of Love (Amor Cautivo), a saga about three families, the Santacruz, Bustamante and Del Valle who are united by a terrible secret, that premieres on Monday, 23rd March at 18:00 CAT, then every weekday at 12:00 CAT.

The channel also offers three first run episodes of telenovelas every weekday with omnibus episodes at weekends. These include: The Perfect Woman (La Mujer Perfecta) – a story of six women who do everything in their might to become “perfect,” on air from Monday, 23rd March at 23:00 CAT, and will continue weekdays at 17:00 CAT. The others are bold and romantic programmes bursting with passion – The Swindler (El Encantador) and Timeles Love (Vivir Destiempo).
